Water Lily Cocktail

Created by bartender Richie Boccato at New York’s Milk & Honey, the Water Lily is an impeccably balanced cocktail.  Its ingredients are all measured equally, working in unison so that there is not one dominant flavor or spirit.  It shimmers in the glass a lovely hue of violet and has an enticing aroma that leads to your first sip and most certainly not your last.  Cheers!

Water Lily Cocktail

In a shaker glass filled with ice add:

• 3⁄4 Ounce London Dry Gin
• 3⁄4 Ounce Cointreau
• 3⁄4 Ounce Crème de Violette
• 3⁄4 Ounce Fresh Lemon Juice

Shake till painfully cold and strain into a coupe glass.  Garnish with an orange twist.
