~ DETAILS Oregon and Washington state are two of the most significant wines regions in the United States. Washington ranks 2nd in overall domestic wine production while Oregon comes in 5th. Though the regions are close in proximity Washington and Oregon wines are distinctly different from each other. On September 18th we will look at each region, sample their wines and learn a bit about what makes them special. Joining us as speaker for the evening is Janna Waite, Director of Education for Eder Brother Distributors. She will guide us through a sampling of eight wines, elaborating on the regions. As always there will be cheeses from Fromage in Old Saybrook and each attendee will go home with one bottle of Pacific NW wine included in the cost of the ticket. This tasting kicks off our fall season tasting series and should fill quickly so buy your tickets early and don?t miss out on a great evening of Pacific NW wines.
