Brandy Apple Fizz

Today we share with you a simple concoction that highlights falls apple harvest. In this highball we combine fresh apple cider with well-bred brandy and to keep it light, offer it up tall and fizzy with a good dose of club soda. It is a refreshing cocktail that is light enough to enjoy as the warm fall days still linger and rich enough to carry into the cold season ahead.

Brandy Apple Fizz

In a shaker glass filled with ice add:

• 1 Ounce Brandy (VS Cognac or a Well-Bred Brandy)
• 1 Ounce Lairds Applejack (or Calvados)
• 2 Ounces Fresh Apple Cider
• ½ Ounce Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
• Dash of Creole Bitters (Optional)

Shake and strain into a highball glass over fresh ice.  Top with club soda.  Garnish with an apple slice.
